Water jet cutting technique uses high-pressure water jet (over 4000 bar) for precision cutting of various materials. It does not impose any thermal, mechanical and chemical loads on cut details and is environmentally friendly. It allows cutting hard-machinable materials (ceramics, rubber, stone, glass, plastics etc.).
The use of this technique in the production processes allows high precision cutting of any shapes while maintaining high quality cut edges.
Maximum cutting thickness depends on many factors, e.g. stainless steel up to 200 mm, cutting accuracy approx. 0.2 mm. Cutting gap width is approx. 1 mm.
The most popular materials for water jet cutting include stones (marble, granite), plastics and ceramics.
